January-February 2008: Family Practice Physicians in Rhode Island

This map of the month depicts preliminary results of an effort ProvPlan is undertaking for Rhode Island Area Health Education Center (AHEC). The goal is to assemble a database and be able to map all primary care health providers in the State. Identifying and mapping this data could provide critical information on underserved communities, as well as be a tool for state policy and advocacy efforts regarding greater equity and access to health care resources.
