Building Futures is a workforce readiness assessment program designed to aid people who are looking for well paying jobs in the construction industry. Candidates in the program are screened for potential barriers and, depending on the severity of those barriers, are either referred to the proper resources to help alleviate them, or are moved into a “hands on” work readiness evaluation curriculum. Upon completion, applicants will be aided in selecting and securing an apprenticeship position in one of Rhode Island’s 17 building trades. |
